AIIZ are the band that were on the original NWOBHM, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal Tour with the BBCs Tommy Vance and Iron Maiden, the band literally helped to re-break Heavy Metal in the UK in 1979 onwards. Picked by Polydor as the best new British Metal, Heavy Rock, Hard Rock band in the UK, and signed to Kennedy Street Enterprises one of the UKs biggest music promoters, they had it all in the final line up that included Gary Owens who went on to join Tytan, Simon Wright who went on to play with AC/DC and others, Dave Owens who went on to Aurora.
